Iron wire production has developed early due to its simple process and wide application. Iron wire or steel wire (the corresponding enterprise is a "wire mesh enterprise") is a cold processed product of steel wire rod, and the materials used are generally high-quality carbon steel or stainless steel. Generally, it is necessary to undergo several procedures such as shell stripping, acid washing, water washing, saponification, drying, drawing, annealing, cooling, acid washing, water washing, galvanizing line installation, packaging, etc. before producing iron ingots (steel ingots) for making iron wire (steel wire).
Wire drawing process and galvanizing treatment are commonly used in the production of iron and steel wires. In 1976, Guangzhou Galvanized Iron Wire Factory successfully applied new technologies such as electrolytic pickling, high pressure washing, and electric drying to the continuous production of the wire drawing line in China, which changed the wire drawing process from intermittent production to continuous production, reducing labor intensity, and reducing metal consumption. At that time, domestic iron wire factories were already able to produce steel wire rope, spoke low steel wire, umbrella steel wire, spring steel wire, bicycle saddle spring steel wire, and other products. In the 1980s, hot-dipped low-carbon steel wire for stapling, fan mesh steel wire, carbon structural steel wire, and bed surface steel wire were also introduced. After annealing, the elongation of the iron wire is increased, making the product more flexible, and increasing the applicability of the iron wire. After being widely used in wire mesh production, such as electrogalvanizing, hot galvanizing, and electroplating copper, the binding and fixation of building steel bars can be achieved by weaving the iron wire mesh using methods such as weaving before plating, and plating before weaving. After processing, the iron wire mesh or steel wire mesh has good anti-corrosion and oxidation resistance characteristics, and can be used in construction, petroleum, chemical industry, aquaculture, garden protection Reinforcement, protection, and thermal insulation in industries such as food processing.
For example, electric welding nets widely used in industries, agriculture, aquaculture, construction, transportation, mining, and other fields are formed by welding high-quality low-carbon iron wires, and then subjected to surface passivation and plasticization treatments such as cold plating (electroplating), hot plating, and PVC coating. The resulting metal mesh has a flat surface, uniform mesh, and solid solder joints, with characteristics of stability, corrosion resistance, and good corrosion resistance. The stainless steel welding mesh is made of high-quality stainless steel wire by welding; For example, machine protective covers, animal and livestock fences, flower and wood fences, window guards, passage fences, poultry cages, home and office food baskets, paper baskets, and decorative items are more acid and alkali resistant, firmly welded, and beautiful.
