Razor coil is a type of barbed wire that is designed to provide security and protection in various settings. Made from high-quality steel, the razor coil is available in two primary finishes: hot-dipped galvanized and electro-galvanized.

It is designed to deter unauthorized access and is commonly used in military, prison, and high-security installations.
To install razor coil, follow these steps:
1.Prepare the Site: Clear the area where the razor coil will be installed. Ensure that the ground is level and free of any obstructions.
2.Choose the Right Posts: Select sturdy posts that can support the weight and tension of the razor coil. Steel or concrete posts are recommended for their strength and durability.
3.Install Posts: Space the posts approximately 3 to 4 meters apart, depending on the height and type of razor coil being used. Dig holes deep enough to securely anchor the posts, and ensure they are plumb before filling the holes with concrete.
4.Unroll the Razor Coil: Carefully unroll the razor coil on the ground, avoiding contact with the sharp blades. It's advisable to wear protective gloves and long sleeves during this process.
5.Attach to Posts: Using wire or specialized clips, attach the razor coil to the posts. Ensure that the coil is taut and secure to prevent sagging.
6.Overlap the Coils: If using multiple coils, overlap them to create a continuous barrier. The overlapping blades increase the difficulty of climbing or cutting through the wire.
7.Secure the Ends: Properly secure the ends of the razor coil to prevent unraveling. This can be done by attaching the ends to the posts with wire or clips.
8.Maintain the Installation: Regularly inspect the razor coil for any signs of wear or damage. Replace any damaged sections promptly to maintain the integrity of the security barrier.
Remember to follow safety precautions when handling razor coil due to its sharp edges. Always wear protective gear and work carefully to avoid injury.
